Hey there & thanks for stopping by.. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to catch amazing images from your DJI drone.. just a reasonably good imagination will do the job just nicely. I’ve personally had an interest in photography since my teens, now five decades on and I’m still keen thanks to technology. A couple of years ago I was introduced to the Mavic drone by a friend and immediately caught the bug. I’m certainly no professional but I do have a heap of fun when I’m flying. I encourage all drone owners to do the same but remember the rules of engagement and fly responsibly. Please don’t ruin it for all the other drone owners out there by flying outside the limitations of the local authorities regulations.
Be careful where and when you fly, use the OpenSky app by Casa and abide by the rules. Instagram is riddled with images taken from well above the ceiling of 120m, after dark, in our national parks and dams and too close to humans on beaches etc… and whilst they often look fantastic, they are an obvious easy target and make it easy for the authorities and drone haters to find. Don’t be fooled by thinking your illegal activity won’t be eventually discovered. The penalties are huge. Only a few weeks ago a local guy found himself in court with an outcome that cost him a hefty $7000 for his trouble.
So take care, fly safe, have fun and post your best here for others to see and learn by.. all the best
